The Ginga Tūrubi continues Hitori’s restrained approach to watchmaking, where every element is considered, purposeful, and free from excess. At first glance, its proportions feel familiar.

Like many Hitori timepieces before it, the true character of the watch reveals itself through its Yanagawa-inspired textured dial—now rendered in a delicate lilac hue known as Murasame (村雨). Deeply rooted in classical Japanese poetry and sword lore, Murasame describes a sudden passing rain that disappears just as quietly as it arrives. It captures a fleeting, contemplative moment in time. Under shifting light, the dial behaves much the same—animating gently between soft lavender, silvery grey, and deeper violet, framed gracefully by a warm rose gold chapter ring. The name Purple Mist Rain therefore speaks not only of colour, but of atmosphere.
